Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing a report from CompBrief at compbrief.velarion.ai. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
By placing an order on CompBrief, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are ordering on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
CompBrief is a report-on-demand service. You search for a public company, select one or more report types (Executive Compensation Report, Board Governance Report, or a bundle of both), and purchase. After payment is confirmed, CompBrief generates your report from the company's most recent public filings and delivers it as a PDF.
CompBrief does not require account creation and does not provide ongoing platform access. Each purchase is a one-time transaction for a specific deliverable.
Orders are placed as a guest — no account is required. You provide your email address and payment information at checkout. Payment is processed through Stripe. CompBrief does not store your payment card details.
All prices are in US dollars. Current prices: Executive Compensation Report $1,500, Board Governance Report $1,200, Complete Intelligence Bundle (both reports for one company) $2,400. Prices are subject to change; the price displayed at checkout is the price you pay.
Your order is confirmed when Stripe processes your payment and CompBrief receives confirmation. You will see an order confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email at the address you provided.
After payment is confirmed, CompBrief initiates report generation automatically. Reports are typically available within minutes, though generation time may vary. You can monitor per-report status on the order confirmation page.

If a report fails to generate, you will be notified on the confirmation page and by email. Our team will follow up directly to resolve the issue or process a refund as described in Section 9.
Download links are active for 30 days from the time of purchase. After 30 days, links expire and the report is no longer retrievable through the platform. Save or forward your report before the link expires. CompBrief does not archive reports on your behalf beyond the 30-day window.
Reports are licensed for your internal business use and for sharing with clients, colleagues, and advisors in the normal course of your business. You may not:
CompBrief reports are generated from publicly available company filings and disclosures. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that all data is complete, current, or free of error. Filings may contain omissions, and reported figures may occasionally not match what a filing discloses.
CompBrief reports are informational only. Nothing in any report constitutes legal, investment, tax, accounting, or compensation consulting advice. Reports are intended to inform analysis, not to serve as the sole basis for any decision. Velarion is not a registered investment adviser, law firm, or licensed compensation consultant. You should consult qualified professionals before making compensation, governance, or investment decisions.
All report formatting, analytical frameworks, design, and software underlying CompBrief are the proprietary intellectual property of Velarion Company Intelligence. Underlying public filing data remains subject to applicable regulations and the original filer's disclosures. Your purchase grants you a limited license to use the specific report(s) you ordered; it does not transfer any ownership interest in CompBrief or Velarion's intellectual property.
Because reports are generated on demand as custom digital deliverables, all sales are final once generation has been initiated following payment confirmation. We do not offer cancellations after an order is placed.
If a report fails to generate and we are unable to deliver a working report within a reasonable time, we will issue a full refund for the affected line item. To request support, contact us at andy@velarion.ai with your order confirmation.
CompBrief is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velarion disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velarion's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of CompBrief shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. Velarion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be posted at compbrief.velarion.ai/terms. Your continued use of CompBrief after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Changes do not affect orders already placed before the effective date of the update.
