CompBrief publishes a compensation brief for every U.S. public company in our coverage. A brief is not a summary and not an estimate. Every figure in it is traceable to its exact location in the company’s SEC filing, printed beside the accession number of the filing it came from, so a reader can open the filing and find the number in the place we say it is. The free briefs are the front of this property. The reports and the platform are the paid ones, and every price on this page is the price the checkout charges.
Every company lists the coverage and links each company’s brief. Newest disclosuresis the change feed: what was filed, and for whom, most recently. A brief carries the company’s reported pay, the peer group it names, its say-on-pay result, and the plan design it disclosed. Nothing on a brief page asks for an email address or a card. The free pages exist because a reader who cannot check our work has no reason to buy it.
The report ladder below is live today. Where a row names a product page, that page takes the order and the card. Where it names a report for one company, the Buy link opens the ticker entry under the table, which leads to the same order path for any company in the register. Every report is built for one company from its own filings. The order page takes the card; an unknown ticker returns the not-found page rather than an order.

A brief opens with the figures the company itself leads with: total reported pay for the named executives, the chief executive’s own number, and the change against the prior year. It then sets those against the peer group the company disclosed, the metrics the compensation committee said it used, and the most recent shareholder vote on pay. Director compensation, committee membership and board composition are on the same document. Each table prints the filing and the accession number beside the figure, and the page states the date the data was read, so a reader always knows how current the reading is.
Where a company names its peers, we check the naming the other way: which of those peers name the company back in their own disclosure, and which do not. That reverse reading is the part of the peer set most often examined in a proxy season, and it cannot be done from one filing. It is one of the paid reports below and it is also stated, in summary, on the free brief.
The pipeline reads public disclosure: proxy statements, annual reports, current reports and the exhibits that carry pay awards. Text and tables are extracted with the location they came from, and each extracted figure is stored against that location rather than against a company-level total. A rendered brief prints the figure and, beside it, the filing and the place in the filing. Where a company has filed nothing on a question, the brief says so rather than filling the gap, because a filled gap is indistinguishable from a wrong number.
Coverage is every U.S. public company in the register, including the comparators each company names in its own disclosure. Reports are presentation-ready: a PDF and an HTML reading, produced at the moment of purchase so the figures are the ones on file that day, not a snapshot taken when the page was built.
