Incentive-plan design — the Compensation Discussion & Analysis

Executive officers are compensated by the Company's Manager (Fortress Investment Group LLC) rather than directly by the Company, with compensation designed to reward and retain talented and experienced individuals. The Manager uses base salary, discretionary bonuses, and other benefits as tools to achieve these objectives, while the Company grants options to the Manager to align interests with shareholders.
