Companies that benchmark against UNF
6 companies name UNF as a compensation peer

Each company listed discloses UNF in its own benchmarking peer group, as disclosed in each company's most recent proxy statement within the last two proxy seasons. Two companies are therefore absent by design: one that named UNF in an earlier year and no longer does, and one whose own most recent disclosure is older than the last two seasons.

Incentive-plan design — the Compensation Discussion & Analysis

UniFirst provides a competitive total compensation package weighted heavily towards pay for performance, combining base salary, annual cash incentive bonuses, long-term equity incentive compensation and broad-based benefits programs. A significant portion of total compensation is determined by corporate and individual performance, designed to attract, retain, motivate and reward executive officers based on achievement of predetermined corporate goals and to align executive and shareholder interests by rewarding increases in shareholder value.
