Incentive-plan design — the Compensation Discussion & Analysis

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes pay for performance programs designed to reward superior financial performance and sustained increases in the value of our shareholders investment in Rayonier, while recognizing the need to maintain competitive base pay, retirement, health care, severance and other fixed compensation programs. We seek to offer total compensation opportunities competitive with the markets in which we compete for talent, with an emphasis on long-term incentive compensation.
